Sordid Lives: The Series

If you haven’t seen “Sordid Lives” (20th Century Fox), go out and buy, rent from Netflix, or download it! A Southern classic, it’s a movie all gay men from the South have heard about. I think the best way of describing it is to imagine “Steel Magnolias (Special Edition)” (Herbert Ross), add a cross-dressing Leslie Jordan, a funeral, therapy, and lots of pills and cigarettes.So, it’s been rumbling for a while, but they are making Sordid Lives: The Series, and here’s the trailer!
I like how they added the element of a cute young gay man “discovering himself”. Southern hijinks are the best hijinks!
