Twitter has a regulation of 700kb, and even though all major formats are supported, another limitation is that only a square area of the image is viewable on the web-site and most Twitter apps on first view.
For this particular logo, I made a few variations, and scaled them to 50 pixels to observe any loss in quality or readability. This is the final logo:
