I finally got to watch Volver today. It was as beautiful, colorful, and stunning as I expected it to be. Penelope Cruz is stunning, and I am rooting for her to win the Oscar for Best Actress this year.
Those eyes!
I love Almodovar’s films. They always captivate you from shot to shot, and the dialogue is priceless. I can scratch one thing off my list of things to do now.

Loved this film, but Penny C ain’t gotta prayer this year. It’s all about Dame Helen Mirren. The only serious competition Helen has is Dame Judi for Notes on a Scandal.
