Ooops there’s no jetlag.

Sometimes I eat potato chips with a fork or spoon. I can’t help it. Sometimes, I have an urge to not touch my food with my fingers. This where forks, spoons, knives, and even chopsticks come in handy. Call it an onset of OCD, but I have made it a habit to eat my burgers with a knife and fork, also.

Some people call it a cry for help.

So I decided to use Sunday to relax, rest, and recover from Vegas. Vegas wasn’t really a trip of relaxation for me. The long nights, initial jet-lag, and pent up sexual frustration just didn’t make for great rest. The one great thing it did was get my mind off work. I can say that for a span of 48 hours, not a thought of work entered my mind. That itself is an achievement.

Craig came by in the evening to pick me up to have dinner and to help him set up the window for my newest find in East Atlanta, Bound to Be Read Books, one of the more interesting bookstores I have come by in Atlanta. The book selection is eclectic with something for everyone, and I think the highlight it has to be the children’s corner in the back. The bookstore also hosts a Children’s Storytime which I just find adorable. If I had kids, I would bring them there. Open for a little more than a year, they’re celebrating their anniversary October 27th-29th. They host an open Mic night once a month, and are located less than a block from Mary’s, the Atlanta gay bar in the East Atlanta Village.

After finishing the window, we had a late dinner/snack at Grand Central Pizza East, where above-mentioned potato chip eating habit occurred, and I thought I saw a coworker across the street going into Mary’s. My eyesight just isn’t as sharp as it used to be.

would u say Atlanta is a literary city? When I visited, I saw tons of B&Ns and Borders around the Buckhead(?) area of town…it does seem a bit more cultural then Miami can be
