Good news is, I am getting some feeling back in the right side of my face. The bad news is, it is coming back in the form of pain.

Talk about a glass half-full/half-empty conundrum.

I woke up this afternoon to a dull ache and text messages from the morning about brunches and movies. I got out of bed and watched Sunday afternoon cartoons as I ate cucumber salad in tortilla wraps, and a bowl of cereal. Nothing like making your own Sunday brunch.

I took the pain as it came, in waves of dull, extended aches. The way I viewed it, I have a pretty high pain-threshold. So taking pain like this should be like another Saturday night.

I just wish it was really every Saturday night.

Had a meeting at the gay Caribou (at Gay Central Piedmont and 10th) for the Alliance officers. To me, I think its great when a group of college leaders can get together, have an agenda, and get tasks done. Fight the college apathy, people!

Afterwards, I picked up some magazines at Outwrite, and also this really cute book entitled “Small Lofts” (Alejandro Bahamon)
which featured all of these cute lofts all over the world, and how people managed to incorporate the space and everything. I’m just so fucking jealous and drooling. Maybe it is the inner fag in me talking, but one of my fantasies is to furnish my own apartment. It’s right up there with my perfect wedding and dinner party.

Interior design rocks.

Faggily speaking again, I spent Saturday afternoon watching romantic comedies on TV. Notting Hill was perfect and heart-tugging, as always.

I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

Boo-hoo.
