I skipped work today.

I woke up, and had a sinking feeling in my stomach. For the first time in my life, I did not have the urge nor the drive to go to work.

I decided to take a mental health day. While it might be almost 90 dollars of lost income, I don’t care. I think my mind needed some rest more.

So I spent my Sunday watching TV, looking at the people sunbathing at the pool, grilling some hamburger patties for lunch and toasting bread with some aioli on top. Added pastrami for some color, flavor, and texture.

Some celebrity news make me laugh. Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger broke up. Reason? Fraud. Umm… is there some credit to those gay Chesney rumors? My sources say a resounding YES!

So my plans for my birthday….. I’ll be working till 6, but afterwards I shall be back home to watch The Apprentice with Martha Stewart, and the season premiere of Lost. Afterwards, I might just go out finally and enjoy a few drinks somewhere…..
