I had dinner with karsh last night, at a Mick’s downtown. I kinda felt bad that i had been so busy for the past month or so since our last dinner together. So dinner was on me, and I’d like to say that we had a great dinner conversation. He’s having progress getting a job after that unfortunate blog/work fiasco last month (it even showed up in MSNBC and Yahoo! news on an article on Bloggers who lost their jobs because of their blogs), so I’m glad for him.

I did an interesting thing while talking to karsh about the recent developments in my life, especially my interest in a certain someone who I will not name. I made napkin origami. I learnt how to make them as a young kid hanging out in chinese restaurants, and while I never did manage to make the elusive swan, I made a few flower folds and open napkins, standard restaurant fare. I guess I really am just hit with some sort of love-bug. now, if only I can find out if its mutual. karsh tells me that I am rushing it, and that I should slow down. I thought four weeks was long enough, but I thought wrong. Compare this to my old track record, where the longest time between the first date/meeting and rolling in the hay was one week. And that was only for one of the guys I’ve dated, and not without the heavy petting under the stars on the beach on the first date. I guess white boys just need more time, especially when a relationship is a possibility. I haven’t even officially asked him out yet, which isn’t something I do, due to my usual passive nature. I’ve been quite the aggressor this time, more so than I have ever been. I just don’t want another P*** or M*** to happen, where I let my passive nature take over, and I just laid back and hoped, but never acted upon it.

So I will slow down, light the new candles from Bath & Body Works, and enjoy my tea from Teavana. And listen to music to make self-love by.
